PP #1- International student recruitment

Deciding where you are going to school can be so hard. It was hard for me and I was just staying in the same state. I can't imagine what it is like for something who is going out of state and so far away from their country. Everyone has their own wants and specific things they look for in a school. Most international students like every student go to school for the best education that they can possible get.  Some international student go to school for their education and sports like most students would. 

Cornell University is a college located Ithaca, New York.  Since Cornell's founding in 1865, their campus welcomed student and scholars from all reaches of the world. 

Cornell University has an NCAA division 1 athletics program in 35 varsity sports and is a member of the Ivy League athletic conference. Cornell's varsity athletic teams consistently challenge for NCAA Division I titles in a number of sports, including men wresting, men's lacrosse , men's ice hockey, and rowing. International students have a lot of sports to pick from when they choose to go to Cornell. 

Whether the international students decide to go to Cornell for sports or not the number of international students at Cornell is more than 6,000. The International students make up approximately 24% of the entire student population on campus and over half of the graduate student population. Scholarships are very important to me as they are to any students because school in America can be very expensive and I know that the international student might not have a-lot of money to spend on collage.

Cornell also has other actives for student and international student to pick from so they can meet new people and learn more about themselves. Cornell has over 1,000 register student organizations . These clubs and organizations that they offer are kayaking to full-armor jousting, from varsity and club sports and cappella groups to improvisational theatre, from political clubs and publications to chess and video games clubs. 

Overall I think that Cornell is a great school for International students to go to just because of how much they care for their student and really what the best for them. As I said Cornell has a lot of thing for international student to study for and extra actives for the to do outside of their studies so that they always have something to do with their day. 

 

When it comes to schools in global countries The University of Toronto caught my eyes. With over 20,000 international undergraduate students and an acceptance rate of 43%, the University of Toronto is a very competitive and popular choice.  The university of Toronto is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario Canada, located on the grounds that surround Queen's Park. 

From what I am read University of Toronto is one of the best places for international students as the university provide a few of the best degree courses which are available all over the world. 

When it comes to athletics with University of Toronto they have 44 teams compete in 26 sports, including rowing, swimming , football, soccer, baseball, rugby, wresting and more. olympic and national-team athletes are among their coaches and competitors , and over 900 students athletes represent U of T  here and Internationally. like I said before most International students will go to school for a sport and also education and if they don't do any sports. 

One of the great things about the University of Toronto is that they have the third largest academic library systems in North America following those of Harvard and Yale. Their collections of books include more than 12 million print books, 1.9 million digital books, over 160,000 journal titles, and close to 30,000 meters of arrival materials. So that means that all the students and all the international student have more than enough room to study and a lot of books to help them with that studying. 

Along with academic and research- based ranking, the university has also been ranked by publications that evaluate the employment prospects of its graduates. In the Times higher Education's 2022 global employment ranking , the university ranked 11th in the world , and first in Canada. 

Overall I think that the University of Toronto is a great choose for a school for international students to go to. They have a lot of resources to help any student with and they also have a lot of sports for the student to pick from if that is what they want to do in college.
